Born in 1959.

Grace Tang served as an audit partner since 2001 and has been based in Beijing since 1998, she retired as of June 30, 2020 after 32 years with PwC.
Ms. Tang began her career with PwC in Silicon Valley and she was asked to second to Hong Kong in 1994.
She served on the Board of Partners of the PwC China, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore firms. She led the Industrial Products sector for China and Hong Kong and was the leader of the multinational client practice and the Entertainment and Media business.

Ms. Tang assisted companies with assurance, accounting, risk management, mergers and acquisitions. She participated in many successful listings in Hong Kong and the United States. She also served as the quality review partner of several U.S. listed companies.

Her major clients included United Technologies, Otis, Carrier, IBM, Sony, MPAA, Viacom, Warner Bro., Paramount, Qualcomm, The Interpublic Group, Nokia, Universal Studio, Cummins, Sina, NetEase, Dang Dang, Shanda, Xiao Mi, China Automotive System, Spreadtrum, RDA, eHai and Autohome. She also led the listing of many domestic Chinese companies in Hong Kong and US, including Esprit, Gulf Security and Century 21 China. Ms. Tang is active in the American Chamber of Commerce in China and served as a corporate board member of the Carnegie Tsinghua Foundation.

Ms. Tang won the PwC Global Industrial Products Client Experience Award that recognizes and rewards those partners who provide exceptional client experiences. She also joined the PwC Global Market Leader’s brainstorming committee to develop the training agenda for the Global Relationship Partner program. She is also the lifetime achiever award winner of Ikang, a healthcare company that is listed in the US. Recently, she is the recipient of the Peking University Corporate Leaders Scholarship and as a nominee by California Society of CPA to the 2023 Women to Watch Award.

She was invited by Peking University to be an examiner for the undergraduate autonomous enrollment program of Guanghua School of Management, and is an instructor of the Master of Business Administration and Master of Professional Accounting and Auditing degree programs at the Peking University and an interviewer for the MBA program.

She is a US certified public accountant, a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a fellow of the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from University of Utah and her Master of Business Administration from Utah State University. Currently, she is involved in instructing the SEC continue education programs for Chinese and overseas companies. She is frequently quoted in leading media on woman’s leadership and her experiences as a breast cancer survivor. She is a frequent public speaker, a sponsor of cancer related charities, and is a leading proponent of cancer prevention awareness.

Upon her retirement, she has been invited to join the audit and operations committees of a NYSE listed leading shipping container leasing company, an Olso Exchange listed leading chemical company and as the audit committee chair of a Hong Kong listed biotech company. In July 2022, she was invited to be the audit and compensation committees chair of NetEase, Inc. and as of December 2022, she took public of ECARX Holdings Inc. and is the chair of the audit committee.

Ms. Tang has also rekindled her interest in art, she studied arts in Avignon, France before she focused her study in accounting. She is also a treasurer for the Silvermine Art Center, an education center that was established more than 100 years ago in the US.

In addition to continue as the director of the Sunshine Leukemia Charity Foundation, a public foundation in China, she is also spending more time with the Asia Liver Center with Stanford University, which she has been a long-time patron for its hepatitis program.

Ms. Tang is a US citizen, who was born in Taiwan and lives in US, Hong Kong and Mainland China. She is currently living in Beijing China.
