On June 26th 2018 Pirelli & C. closed a "Schuldschein" financing – guaranteed by Pirelli Tyre S.p.A. – for a total of €525 million, following the terms detailed below.
The transaction aims at facilitating the reimbursement of existing debt, further optimizing its structure and cost.
On 31st January 2021, Pirelli voluntary prepaid the €82 million tranche originally due in July 2021.
On 31st January 2022, Pirelli voluntary prepaid the €200 million out of the €423 million tranche originally due in July 2023.
On 31st January 2023, Pirelli decided to voluntarily repay in advance the residual amount, equal to €223 million, of the original €423 million, due for July 2023.
The current outstanding total amount is therefore €20 million.
