About
Born in 1964.
After graduating in Business Economics at Milan’s Luigi Bocconi University, in 1989, he started his career as Junior Professional in the Export Financing Unit of Pirelli.
In 1992 he moved to Pirelli Financial Planning Department and in 1995 he started his experience abroad, joining Pirelli Société Generale S.A. International Treasury in Basel (CH) with the responsibility of Asset & Liability Management.
In 1997 he returned to Pirelli Headquarters in Milan, where he became responsible of the Financial Planning department and in March 2000, he was appointed Deputy Group Treasurer, acting in such position in the corporate seats of Milan and Basel and also in the International Treasury Department of the Pirelli Group, that in the same year moved from Basel to London.
In November 2001, further to the acquisition by Pirelli S.p.A. of the reference shareholding in Olivetti (then merged in Telecom Italia S.p.A.), he moved to Rome as Finance Director of Telecom Italia S.p.A., coming back to Milan in 2003.
In the Telecom Group, from August 2008, he was also responsible for the Merger & Acquisition department.
In October 2009 he rejoined Pirelli as Chief Financial Officer and, in April 2017, he was nominated Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.
In January 2022 he was appointed Chief Financial Officer in Iveco Group.
Starting from August 2023 he rejoined Pirelli as General Manager Corporate.
