THE PROJECT

Pareidolia – the perceptual phenomenon that leads us to recognise patterns in the shapes and objects around us. It is this mechanism, closely linked to the idea of perception itself, that underpins the five illustrations that follow. The story they unfold traces a gradual emergence: that of a human figure arising from the vegetal world. First as an eye, then as a face, and finally as a body.
