About

Born in 1958.

Graduated in Aeronautical Engineering from the Politecnico of Milan in 1983.

In 1985 he joined Pirelli in the Research and Development Function as Junior Tyre Designer.

From 1992 to 1996, based in the German Breuberg plant, he was Head of Factory Technology with the task of implementing production processes by adapting them to the production of new products.

In 1996, he came back to the Headquarters in Milan and assumed the role of Manufacturing Processes Manager, focusing on manufacturing processes innovation.

In 2000 he took charge of Research and Core Technology, contributing to innovation in several areas of responsibility.

In 2002, he was appointed head of the MIRS Operations (Modular Integrated Robotized System), coordinating the design, construction and management of the new factories with MIRS technology in Germany, UK and USA.

Since 2008, he has covered various positions within the Motorcycle Business Unit, including Director of Research and Development and Chief Operating Officer.

In 2017 he was appointed Head of Business Unit Moto and member of the Supervisory Board of Pirelli Deutschland in 2018.

He was appointed Pirelli Deutschland Supervisory Board member in January 2018.

In 2019, he became Senior Vice President Research & Development, and in 2020, he assumed responsibility for the Cyber business.

In February 2022 he was appointed Executive Vice President and, starting from October 2023, Executive Vice President and Chief Technical Officer.
