Chairman of the Board of Director of Pirelli since October 11, 2022

M. Li has taken the role as Chairman of the Board of Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. since August, 2022.

Mr. Li has extensive working experience in petrochemical industry. Prior to his current posts, Li Fanrong served as Board Director, President of China National Petroleum Corporation, concurrently as Vice Chairman of PetroChina Company Limited; Deputy Director General of National Energy Administration; Vice President of China National Offshore Oil Corporation, concurrently as CEO &President of CNOOC Ltd., Chairman of CNOOC South East Asia Co., Ltd, Nexen Energy ULC, and CNOOC International Co., Ltd etc.

Mr. Li was appointed as Board Director and President of Sinochem Holdings Corporation Ltd. in April, 2021. At present, Mr. Li is also Chairman of Sinochem Corporation, Chairman of Sinochem Energy Co., Ltd., Chairman of Sinochem International, Chairman of Syngenta Group Co., Ltd., Chairman of Syngenta AG and Chairman of China Jinmao (00817.HK).

He graduated from the Jianghan Petroleum Institute (currently Yangtze University) majoring in Petroleum Production Engineering, and obtained MBA from Cardiff University in the United Kingdom. He is a senior professorate engineer.
