Valeria Leone was born in Naples on June 3, 1961.

Ms. Leone earned a degree in Economics from La Sapienza University of Rome in 1985. She is a member of the Italian Association of Chartered Accountants and of Certified Auditors (since 1987) and of the Italian Association of Financial Analysts (since 2001).

Her career began at Deloitte Touche in 1985. In 1988 she began working as a freelance business valuation expert.

She worked in telecommunications planning and control at the Istituto per la Ricostruzione Industriale from 1989 to 1997, during which time she was involved with the restructuring and privatization of the Italian telecommunications industry

She was Head of Business Planning at TIM S.p.A. from 1997 to 1999. In 1999 she became Head of Investor Relations, a position she held until June 2005. In July she was appointed Head of Market Analysis & Monitoring in the Marketing unit.

From October 5, 2005 to August 8, 2008 she was Head of Telecom Italia Group Investor Relations.

In October 2008 she joined Pirelli & C. S.p.A. as Head of Investor Relations. Since May 2012 she has also overseen Competitive and Business Insight at Pirelli & C. S.p.A.

She was a member of the Board of Emittenti Titoli S.p.A (from March 30, 2010 to September 6, 2017) and of the Board of Prelios S.p.A. (from June 24, 2015 to March 2, 2018).

In April 2017 she became Senior Vice President Investor Relations, Competitive and Business Insight, and from May 2020 to February 2021, also assumed responsibility for Strategic Planning & Controlling and Planning & Controlling.

In September 2020 she was appointed Executive Vice President and, as of March 2021, she is EVP Investor Relations, Competitive, Business and Value Insight, Micromobility Solutions.
